Hematology includes the study, diagnosis, and treatment of diseases of the blood.

The doctors at the Humphrey Cancer Center specialize in hematology and oncology. This means they evaluate and treat patients with anemia, bleeding and clotting disorders, and other abnormalities of the blood. This is in addition to the treatment of patients who have been diagnosed with cancer.
